Lot of students are happy that their Examinations are postponed by 6 months or 1 year. What they dont realize is the PONC-Price of Non Conformance. Assuming a student earns an entry level salary of Rs 25000 per month now, if his/her exam get delayed by 6 months, 1/3
he/she will start working 6 months late. That is a lost income of Rs 25,000 x 6 = Rs 1.5 Lakhs. Assuming Student works for 42 years (lot of people work till 65), and that money doubles in 6 years, the total minimum loss to the student is Rs 1.92 Crores, 2/3
And if he or she loses a full year, the minimum loss is Rs 3.84 Crores.
Food for thought eh? 3/3
