Greetings @anuragkashyap72 Sir!
Usually such anonymous handles may be tagging you to hurl the choicest of abuses at you. This is not another one of those vile, venom spewing handle.
I made the handle to share something. So, I will get down to the details. Thanks. Do read!
Ayush is a failed Youtuber who has spent the last three years of his life on becoming Youtube’s next big star. Now, in his final year in Mumbai’s St. Xavier’s College, as he sees his friends getting placed in MNCs and securing scholarships to study at prestigious foreign
universities, Ayush is in doldrums.
After his failed Youtube misadventures and poor academic track record, he applies to almost every single company in the hope of securing a job in Bombay that will help him turn down his parent’s repeated requests of coming back to his hometown.
As he faces one rejection after another, it seems as if going back to his hometown is the only option left. But everything changes when his editing skills and his twitter account is spotted by the scouts at the IT cell of the ruling party.
So, Ayush who has never ever cared two hoots for politics and is largely ignorant about it (as against his friends who were actively involved in several protests during their college days) gets inducted into the ruling party’s IT cell. This is just the premise.
There is another thread in this story that runs parallel to Ayush’s narrative. A young, rookie (Ayush’s friend) journo working with a leading news channel who had been active in student protests during his college days finds himself in a spot of bother and confusion when
His mentor is sacked as the editor of the channel &replaced by another journo.Under the new editor&his new editorial line (say a la Republic TV) the journo finds it increasingly tough to adjust. Will he survive at a newschannel that is becoming everything he always stood against?
