Danny's Reaction of his 20th viewing of Tall Girl on his 20th Birthday (A Thread)
Here we go
Amazing Camera Work
Why did they hire an American to play a guy from Sweden? His accent sounds more German than Swedish
The camera angles are great
Why are 10 girls non-violently fighting for a guy with a terrible Swedish accent at a lunch table?
This is the best movie line of 2019
Prank calling people are overrated, it’s all about prank texting people. And how did the bully get Tall Girl’s Phone Number?
They’re playing Party at Fifth Ave by Mac Miller during the biking montage (it’s the first Mac Miller song I’ve ever heard) #RIPMacMiller
It’s such a coincidence that fake Sweden guy is in the choir room
Beacuse of poor editing, the twist (the bully dating the Swedish guy) doesn’t come out of as a surprise because the milk crate guy told the audience that they were dating 5 minutes earlier.
That’s why editing matters.
There’s a Tall People Club and everyone is wearing a sailor hat. That’s funny
Some slapstick comedy finally happened and it could’ve been more funnier. That’s the last time there will be any sort of slapstick comedy in the film.
Tall People crammed in a Cable Car seat. That scene could’ve been a lot more funnier. That scene makes the Buick commercial where Shaq is crammed in his Buick seem like it’s a comedic masterpiece.
Ewwwwww. They kissed
Milk Crate Boy is sad. F for respect
The background extras are dancing more akwardly than me. I didn’t know that it was possible
Why is everyone kissing inside an Escape The Room maze? The scene is awkward and it doesn’t make any sense.
My face when I realize there’s 25 more minutes of this film
Swedish guy a jerk? No way. I didn’t see that coming
Milk Crate Boy is a creep, why are you in Tall Girl’s room?
I’m curious into why does the “raw” footage of the fight have 5 different editing cuts?
How did they allow Tall Girl to get onto the stage during Homecoming to make a speech about her being a tall girl?
Just finished the movie for the 20th time. Here’s my thoughts
1. The movie is bad and I’m only laughing because how bad it is
2. Steve Zahn and Angela Kinsley didn’t get enough screen time and their talent is waste
3. Sabrina Carpenter is underrated and her talent is also wasted
4. Editing and Cinematography is horrible. The screenplay needed more time to be developed.
5. The film had a lot of potential
6. This is probably the last time I’m going to watch this film for a while
That’s the end of thread, have a great day/night!
