The first thing I& #39;ve probably got to clear up before I get anywhere deeper is the basic concept of God.
Allah is the god in Islam. He has been said to create the universe. He knows all.
That& #39;s the basic concept for those who don& #39;t know.

But we& #39;re obviously going further than the basic concept! First off, we& #39;re supposed to love Allah and fear him at the same time. Which sounds pretty hard and strange. Even for me. This is what is taught to children and adults alike.
Allah is also said to love every human 1000 times or more than their mothers. So we& #39;re supposed to love Allah and he loves us. But that fear factor. How does that make sense?
Simple, we& #39;re not supposed to fear him because he can kill us at any moment, we& #39;re supposed to fear him like the average child does his/her parents. For example, say you got an F on your test. You& #39;re probably scared to go home. Why? Because of your parents.
It& #39;s not that you& #39;re actually scared of your parents though, it& #39;s that you love your parents and you& #39;re scared to see them be disappointed at you. You don& #39;t want to see them lose their love for you.
This is the fear we should have for Allah. We should fear to lose his love.

Ok, don& #39;t get me wrong... Being gay(any sexuality besides straight)/transgender is a sin in Islam, but not in the way you think.
A lot of people act like LGBTQ+ are cancer or a virus. That is also a sin in Islam.

In fact, you can even be something besides straight and be a Muslim!

Being gay or anything besides straight is fine as long as you don& #39;t act on your desires.
It& #39;s treated the same way as rape is in Islam. Rape is horrible and you can think about raping people. That doesn& #39;t make you a bad person! Thinking something doesn& #39;t make you a bad person!

But actually doing something that& #39;s bad does. You can be attracted to the same gender or think about raping someone, but as long as you don& #39;t do those things you& #39;re thinking of, it& #39;s ok! Don& #39;t get me wrong! You should try to stay away from those bad thoughts!
But if you can& #39;t, that doesn& #39;t make you a bad person.

Many Muslims will stick away from and treat LGBTQ+ like the plague! That is absolutely haram! Hypocrisy is a major thing in Islam! Many people say they& #39;re Muslims but don& #39;t even follow Islam the right way if at all!
