Exemptions include visiting people you're in an intimate relationship with, even if they live outside your area.

The detention order applied to the nine public housing towers will be lifted and they'll be subject to the same stay at home direction as everyone else.

Andrews says requested and received from the PM for 260 ADF personnel to assist Victoria Police in the establishment of hard boundaries around metro Victoria. Not every car will be stopped but will be similar to the other suburb lockdowns.

Andrews says there's no handbook for this, when asked about criticism of the handling of the lockdown of the nine public housing towers. Door to door testing has ramped up and as soon as that is done restrictions will change

The six weeks is basically to give the virus three life cycles to see how suppression goes.
