so tbh i just got some really disappointing news bc there is a new immigration law that does not allow j1 visa students to enter the us if their classes will be online for fall 2020. i already knew there was a possibility my bf may not be able to come back +

bc his school was already being difficult about mailing physical i20& #39;s out due to covid (which a physical is needed for entering this country), but there was hope that they might still send it. but now this situation screws him regardless and that just really sucks bc i think +

about all the other people who are going to be affected by this. people will get kicked out of the country bc of this new law, their lives literally being uprooted. and ik that my bf is super stressed and just wanted to come back to the states even tho it is a total shit show +

here and we still wouldn& #39;t even be living in the same state... but at least the same country is better. it& #39;s just hard after 3+ years of doing long distance bc of school and military service and we were supposed to see each other in may or june, but that got messed up bc covid +

i just miss him a lot and wish that he was here bc with everything going on in my life and the world i just need a hug and he gives the best hugs :( and he also deserves a good squeeze and i wanna give him that
