Rapunzel is loosely based on the protagonist of the classic German fairy tale Rapunzel by the Brothers Grimm. She is the tenth official Disney Princess and the first CGI-animated princess.
Her full name is Rapunzel of Corona and she has many nicknames including Blondie, Sunshine, Goldie, Sweetheart, etc and all those nicknames came from Flynn Rider.

About her personality hmm... She is kind, very kind, energetic also, very vivacious, adventurous, artistic is a plus point, loving, curious, innocent? Hmm yes... Conscientious too, determined.. what else.. oh jumpy ! And also imaginative, friendly, bubbly, and free-spirited !
Her father’s name is King Frederic, her mother’s name is Queen Arianna, and her lovely husband is Eugene Fitzherbert or you may be more familiar with Flynn Rider. Yeapp, those two are the same person.
Ohh ! I forgot about her pet ! Yes, Pascal the chameleon. Who wouldn forgot this cutie little pie ? He's Rapunzel only friend when she's in the tower. So, Pascal is basically her best friend slash pet.
Oh did I mention she has a really long hair that glows ? Well, there once was this flower, a magical flower, created by a single drop of sunlight, that able to heal every kind of illness. And one day, Queen Arianna fell ill and everyone in the kingdom searched for it.
And they found it. Long story short, they had a baby that has a magical glowing hair and has ability to heal. Oh but you have to sing the Healing Incantation first.
