It’s 10:34pm on July 6th, 2020

I have not slept in my own place since June 30 & I refused to pay my rent by July 5th due to the discovery of harmful mold contamination.

My property manager sent another invoice for rent that included a $50 late fee. NOT PAYING!

It already cost me $700 to get the place professionally tested for mold on June 30th & the report came back on July 3rd w/bad molds listed.

My attorney sent a demand letter on my behalf on July 3rd and the property manager replied today (the 6th) after sending another invoice

I received an email today from the property manager stating that now they will have contractors in & out of the place inspecting it since I will vacate the premises by July 31st.

The only way I can get back in my place is to have it sprayed by the guy who tested it

BECAUSE I CANNOT BE IN MY PLACE FOR MORE THAN 5 MINS W/OUT BREAKING OUT & HAVING A HEADACHE!!!

How much will it cost to spray the place? $1200

At this point I’ve spent $1900 to deal w/ this shit

BUT did I mention I saw my holistic dr today? That costs me $500

$2400– SO FAR

Once the place is sprayed, so that I can physically be in there & not be effected by the mold, I have to MOVE whatever I can take immediately!

All because property management didn’t take my first report of mold seriously

I know I will get this money back but my time & health

I’m really pissed. I’m very angry. I’m hurt emotionally and physically! I just do not know how much more I can take at this point and I’m doing my fucking best
