Today I saw a car purposefully plow into #BLM protesters in Bloomington, IN. One woman was hit up onto the windshield as the car floored it into the dispersing crowd, which had gathered to protest NO ARRESTS in an attempted lynching. She fell off *two blocks* later.

The news speculates that it was "an accident." It wasn& #39;t. I saw the conflict begin at the intersection of 4th st and S Washington. The protesters had blocked off the street so the crowd could disperse safely. Most cars were understanding and turned, or honked but obliged.
I saw a guy get out of the car and kick over the bike and scooter the protesters were using to block the road. He got back in the car, and the driver threateningly bumped into the protesters. When they wouldn& #39;t move, he floored it.
I was horrified. I just took my phone out to record, thinking there might be trouble. But instead, shaking, I had to call 911. Multiple people struck by a car, and one up on the hood as the car disappeared down the street.
Wow, the number of replies a la "they deserved it" for blocking the road is staggering. They were protecting a crowd from traffic. This is a small town, and you can easily navigate by going around or down different streets.
I don& #39;t know why so many people think that having the most direct route is more important than someones LIFE.
