it doesn't mean we turn the monster against the bad people. it doesn't mean we say, "well, kill the monster eventually, but as long as we have it...."

it means we stop feeding the monster.

and if you don't agree with that? that's fine. but don't try to bend it into something that makes you more comfortable. that's intellectually dishonest and it's a disrespect to the people who have been thinking and writing and fighting for this for generations.
