Just remembered the time I got locked out of my hotel room with all my stuff in it. I asked to be let back in. They asked for my ID. I said it was locked in my room. They said they can’t do anything unless they see my ID. This went on for 15 mins.

They then said I could show them my credit card. That was also locked in my room. They suggested they call the number on file. Again. Locked in my room. All this happened whilst behind me was a poster of my face as I was performing in their theatre. That didn’t count as ID either

Here’s the kicker. After about 30 mins eventually they said security would escort me to my room and go in and check my ID. The security guard turned up and said, and I shit you not ‘Hey Chris, hows the show going’
