Some personal observations:

1) In every Muslim localities there are a couple of so called youth leaders or social activists who exist only to dilute the Muslim resistance in the locality. These are well respected local leaders.
2) These are safety valves designed by the state. One good way to identify them is check their relation with local police officers. They are patronised by the police officers to stop any meaningful protest to happen, and push the community to do 'table talks' with officers.
3) They, at times but not always, also work as local mukhbirs for the police and help them in identifying real leaders of the locality. These are the biggest roadblocks to our struggles. Most of the people would know about such people in their localities.
4) They are proactively involved in all such meetings where any decision about any protest, any disagreements with government or local administration is discussed. Their role is only to dilute the agitation. Always.
5) It's about time that they are marked by the youths of the localities. They should be ignored and if that is not possible, should be made clear that no table talks, no 'darao-dhamkao' strategies like case ho jayega will be entertained.
6) This is necessary to make any community led organic movement possible. They should either stop being stooges or should be boycotted (which is almost impossible due to close relationship with locals).

End.
