Disclaimer: no shade to either Naomi or Tyra! I think they're both iconic, however I do feel like they're the only two black models bring up when 90s black supermodels are mentioned! This is all educational (and to fangirl over my inspirations as a rookie model)

Lorraine Pascale. She has walked for Versace, John Galliano, Paco Rabbane, etc and is now a successful chef!
Alek Wek. In an industry where dark-skinned girls were not "mainstream", Alek rose to booming success, walking for major fashion houses like Issey Miyake, Betsey Johnson, etc. She started modelling at 18.
Roshumba Williams. She was discovered by Yves Saint Laurent in 1987 and became a regular on runways. She was also one of the first black models to appear on Sports Illustrated.
