1️⃣ 'Balut' - A traditional Pinoy delicacy, it is a chicken EMBRYO with the top part of the shell shaved off,put in salt - then usually eaten WHOLE with local beer or rum...
2️⃣ 'Pork Humba' - traditional staple dish for most Filippinos,Pork is cheap to buy for them,second to fish. Marinated with soy sauce,white vinegar,pepper,salt & bay leaves,then cooked slowly for a couple of hours,delicious on Thai jasmine rice - LOVE IT!
3️⃣ 'Tinulang Manok' - translated as chicken soup,Pinoys love this & so do I!
Chicken,Sayote,spinach,ginger,lemongrass & water,so DELICIOUS with or without rice!
4️⃣ 'Beef Caldereta' - Beef stew,made from beef,potatoes,peppers,onions & Hunt's tomato sauce,GORGEOUS with rice,a real Pinoy FAVOURITE - my wife's too!🔥
5️⃣ 'Lechon Baboy' - translated as roast pig, cooked & roasted slowly on or over open fire coals outdoors, has been traditionally served at BIG events like birthdays,anniversary,weddings & national holidays like Christmas! You HAVE to try this if you visit the Philippines....👇
