jk r*wling can say whatever she likes but without the tavistock I wouldn’t be here today. I never felt ANY pressure from them to transition, if anything it took a considerable amount of time and effort to convince them that I was making the right decision by doing so

if I hadn’t a) wanted to transition, b) argued my case for that over 3 years, c) had the support of my family, my two tavistock therapists, my GP, and many specialist doctors/nurses (at least 10) who often told me about the consequences and risks of transition then I WOULDNT HAVE

I’m one of the most stubborn people that I’ve ever met. nobody was forcing me to do shit that I didn’t want to do. if anyone was applying pressure to transition it was me lmao
