Spent the next hour frantically trying to contact my manager for the login to show the police, which clearly showed her leaving with her wallet in her purse. When they told her this, she immediately changed her story and walked off with them without acknowledging me at all.

I proceeded to have a panic attack in the back of the store and cry as quietly as I could until someone else came in. Still had to work another few hours before closing by myself.
