I ran a poll to know the perception of people about the easiest to bat in ODIs since 2015 WC.
Huge scores were scored in Eng, but was Eng really "the easiest" for all teams or Eng batsmen made it look like? https://twitter.com/iamPra98/status/1278634951332761600?s=19

I have done a statistical analysis of batting in some countries to find a conclusion.
I have considered batting stats in five countries:-
Australia
England
India
New Zealand
South Africa
I have considered only matches that involved the home teams and ignored the neutral matches.

I have considered only matches that involved the home teams and ignored the neutral matches.
The stats I have taken into account are:-
- Overall Aggregate of all Batsmen
- Strike Rate
- 100s per Match
- 6s per Match
I first analysed the overall batting stats and then compared the stats of away teams with home teams to know which country was easiest to bat for away teams

Overall batting performance in different countries:
In the given graphs, we can see that
- Ave and SR are highest in Eng
- 100s per Match are highest in Aus and India
- 6s per Match is highest in India
In the given graphs, we can see that
- Ave and SR are highest in Eng
- 100s per Match are highest in Aus and India
- 6s per Match is highest in India
Batting performance of home teams of different countries:
- Eng's Ave and SR is much higher than others at home
- 100s per Match is highest for Aus at home
- 6s per Match is highest for India at home
- Eng's Ave and SR is much higher than others at home
- 100s per Match is highest for Aus at home
- 6s per Match is highest for India at home
Batting performance of away teams in different countries:
- Away batsmen have highest Avg in Aus and highest SR in India
- they score 100s more frequently in Aus and India
- they score 6s more frequently in India while Eng drops to 4th position
- Away batsmen have highest Avg in Aus and highest SR in India
- they score 100s more frequently in Aus and India
- they score 6s more frequently in India while Eng drops to 4th position
Comparison of away batsmen with home batsmen in different countries by taking ratio:
- Away batsmen have higher ratios in Aus and India, means they batted very well if compared to batsmen of Aus and Ind
- While these ratios are least for Eng
- Away batsmen have higher ratios in Aus and India, means they batted very well if compared to batsmen of Aus and Ind
- While these ratios are least for Eng
Now, we can add these normalised ratios to find overall batting performance of away batsmen in comparison to home batsmen in different countries.
I have added two more measures, 50s and 4s per Match, to get more accuracy
- This value is highest in Aus and Ind while least in Eng
I have added two more measures, 50s and 4s per Match, to get more accuracy
- This value is highest in Aus and Ind while least in Eng
From the last graph, we can say that the country in which away batsmen performed least in comparison to home batsmen is England while they performed best in Aus and India comparatively.
Conclusion:
- Eng was the place that was dominated by batsmen of home team (i.e., England)
- Aus and India were the easiest places to bat for batsmen of away teams
- England, Aus and India were overall easiest place to bat
- SA and NZ were relatively tougher places to bat
