I have been part of a non-affirming church for 8 year now (with several “sabbaticals” to take a breath).

I also appreciate how Jeff clarified that this is not a calling for every queer person, and that many LGBTQ+ people *should* leave their non-affirming churches. There is nothing inherently holy about staying and nothing inherently holy about leaving. Both are callings.
