mini rant but fanfic writers do so much to write their stories. some have to do a lot of research to write their fic or they pour hours and hours into plotting the story and writing it.

it’s crazy to think that writers could spend a whole week

writing a new chapter, only to have someone read through it in minutes. most writers in fandom write fanfics for f r e e, and the only thing that they ask from people who read their fics is to drop a kudos or comment and let them know what they thought

writers deserve just as much praise in fandom as artists do. because at the end of the day, we’re both doing the same thing. we’re creating something for the fandom we enjoy. we’re taking an idea and bringing it to life. we both do a lot of work to make that idea

awesome and both writers and artists in fandom deserve the same amount of praise.

but for some reason,,,they don’t get the same amount of praise and I don’t get why. like I said before, artists and writers are doing the same thing, but using different mediums to do it.

whoops, didn’t mean to make this thread so long. long story short, support writers in fandom just as much as you support artists!! next time you read a fic hit that kudos button or drop a comment and let that writer know your thoughts!!
