There are a lot of people on my feed starting new jobs and internships today, so here& #39;s a list of my favorite tips for starting a new position:

ASK QUESTIONS! Ask all the questions. Nobody expects you to know everything on day 1.
Meet your coworkers, even if it& #39;s just via chat. Having a buddy is helpful.

It& #39;s easy to fall into a trap of trying to prove yourself from the start, which means you might try to change or improve processes that have been set for a long time. Take time to learn the current role before trying to change how things have been.
Lastly, now& #39;s a great time to begin recording every small win as you start a new position. It& #39;ll be a great resource when discussing a raise or promotion. It& #39;s also a nice record to see your progress when impostor syndrome strikes.
