Hey @Disney,

Strike a deal with all the unions, for a temporary well compensated quarantine bubble for cast & crews, and get your teams into @disneybroadway right now and begin film production on all your currently mounted productions for @disneyplus.
Then, once you’ve covered all these, start production on all the old shows that have since left broadway, and remount them for film production, but don’t take that cheap LIVE musical route. We want a staged version of these shows with all the bells & whistles.
But why build sets for four musicals that aren’t in production right now?

Great question!

After you film the shows for Disney+, relocate the costumes and sets to Orlando and build a new ticketed event theater where you can present these fabulous shows in rep for WDW Guests.
You provide streamlined versions of Broadway style musicals in the parks from Frozen to Finding Nemo, but you’d for sure find an overwhelming demand for tickets if you brought a pocket of Broadway to your Orlando Resort, where you’ve already captured the market on every vacation.
The Orlando theater can heavily promote the currently mounted shows on Broadway, and even have DVC style kiosks where guests can book Disney NYC vacations to see the shows.

Plus with the shows in Rep, you’ll encourage repeat visitors who want to see every show as it debuts.
I know for a fact that I would happily shell out an extra $79 to $149 each time I’m down to see a full Broadway 3 hour show.

Even with the inevitable $60 glass of wine and $25 bag of peanut M&Ms.
And don’t act like putting these shows on Disney+ is really going to impact ticket sales. There are people chomping at the bit to see Hamilton now, not to mention what it’s doing for Album sales which are also likely through the roof for Hamilton.

You do GREAT work on Broadway.
Now flaunt it.
When I was working on Broadway I had most evenings free and in that time I saw Mary Poppins close to 40 times.

It’s a all out show stopping master piece that would do gang busters attached to EPCOT in some way.

The show has a scale home that would with a flying attic.... 😮
Not to mention Burt tap dancing upside down on the proscenium, and Mary Poppins LITERALLY FLYING THROUGH THE THEARTRE!!!
Beauty and the Beast is a stupidly fun Broadway musical.

The costuming done for the enchanted objects in the castle were out of this world.

Even if the Lumier wig was the most flammable thing on stage, I still loved those real life pyrotechnics hands!
The Little Mermaid was a super fun underwater romp that had its problems sure but still managed to put together some really fun and engaging moments:
Tarzan... well...

Listen WDW has plenty of thirsty moms.

Tickets will sell.
Let’s also not forget the collection of not so successful productions such as:

Jungle Book

Hunchback of Notre Dame

Pinocchio
Plenty of content to go around!

Now let’s get actors, crews, production staff, scenic designers, costumers, etc all working while their main source of income is shuttered due to the virus.

Make it happen!
