why? SYSTEMATIC RACISM

over the years, all public universities in tennessee have seen steady increase of funding except UM and TSU

UM in a largely black city on tennessee, TSU an HBCU

we have consistently gotten paid below the average of university funding from the state tennessee as seen by the graph where schools like utk and apsu have consistently gotten well above the curve.

“tsu deserves to get funded less, they don’t have quality education”

we perform with the best (funded) of them!! so why aren’t we being funded equally?

take that up w governor Lee or whoever

yes glenda is wanting to make as much money from us as possible

yes that’s unethical during a pandemic

but we need money to stay open and afloat not because we can’t handle money, but because we haven’t been given equitable footing from the govt as our peer univ.’s have
