1. Human rights aren't opinions to "disagree with" or to "believe or not believe". If you support Trump, you don't believe in human rights. 2. "Growing up a republican" is not an excuse to support a homophobic racist biggot. Educate yourself. It's not hard
My mother was raised in a very conservative Rep. household, who are all trump supporters. She was told never date outside her race, being gay is a sin. But she educated herself and is a now a liberal woman married to a black man w 3 queer children..
There is absolutely NO excuse to support him. None. Don't get butt hurt for people coming at you for supporting him, especially if they thought you were their friend/loved on. This is no longer a political debate. It's a human rights debate.
Your parent's and family's opinions don't need to be yours, especially if they are harmful to anyone's HUMAN RIGHTS. If you support Trump, you do not support black people, POC, The LGBTQ+, women, people in poverty, the mentally and physically ill, etc.
If you're a cisgender white person. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEDGE. And educate yourself. I promise you, you can find many many many resources to help you out
