I've listened to this song so many times all these years, I just love it, but it was only a few weeks ago when I found out the songwriter is a Federer fan, which makes it a million times more epic.

Beatenberg is a South African band based in Cape Town.

Lead vocals, guitar and songwriter Matthew Field:

"It was a way to try to transcend and celebrate the guy I would've been rooting against. From a distance of a couple years later you can go back and appreciate everything about Nadal."
