I know you guys would never do anything like what these disgusting people have. You're good people and alcohol won't change that about you. It doesn't matter how drunk you get, you'll never commit any of the horrible acts we've seen. I get that

Alcohol doesn't change a person, but I truly believe it does enable them to act on thoughts they otherwise wouldn't have the courage for. Yes they'd already have to be shitty people in the first place and alcohol doesn't change that about them, I'm not denying this

Having liquor available in an environment that consists of nearly 50% minors is already questionable enough as it is, but where my priority lies right now is making sure the chances of anything similar ever happening again are as low as we can make it to be

With nearly all of these stories mentioning drunk people. Even if it reduces the odds of anything bad happening only slightly I still think it's worth the trade off and we should ban it all together from events where minors are present

Yes it's unfair towards you or me, but I believe it's a necessary sacrifice we have to make going forward. We should do anything that's within our power to make sure this never happens again. Just go to a nearby bar next time if you want to drink at a major!
