Want to donate to the food bank this week but not sure what to bring? We made a handy visual guide:
They are seeking:

⏺️ Tinned meals, including meat and fruit. Keep in mind some users may only have access to limited cooking facilities.

Right now, they are especially short of:
Tinned Hot Dogs
Tinned Spaghetti/Hoops
Tinned Meatballs
Tinned Macaroni
⏺️ Cereal and Long-Life Milk

Long-life/UHT milk, and their non-dairy alternatives can be very useful to donate.

This week the food bank is also specifically requesting donations of SUGAR.
⏺️ Toiletries: including soap, toothpaste, toilet roll, toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel & period products. These often don't get thought of when people are shopping but they are very much appreciated when donated!
AVOID BRINGING:

❌ Fresh food including bread, meat, and vegetables
❌ open packets, including unwrapped soap etc
❌ expired food
❌ alcohol
Keep an eye out for updates directly from the food bank about what they are short of: https://www.facebook.com/qpgfoodbank/

We really appreciate how generous you've all been these last few weeks! Join us anytime from 2-5pm today and tomorrow at the library with your donations!
