Let me just add here that you won't always get noticed. That's the harsh truth but please don't let this stop you from promoting yourself! Don't stop putting yourself out there! Just be patient. Might take days, weeks, or even months. But please, please, don't ever stop!

While you have no clients yet, take the time to improve your skills so you have something to show. This is not the time to give up on yourself.

Heck, took me almost a year to get clients! Too shy to show what I got but I learned that now is not the time to be afraid.
