Collared on the train for #masks. Again.

Accepted my exempt explanation, after I showed them my #disabled yellow star.

Two of them this time.

@WestMidRailway

I should not have to keep doing this, its anxiety provoking every time.

My heart is absolutely pounding. #livid
They sought to confront me the minute I got on the train. They rushed to speak to me.

Why have we created this world of confrontations for #disabled people because of covering or not covering your face?

I am old enough to remember when "only doing my job" was a nazi apology.
I am proud of myself for being able to take a stand because of the example I set for my youngest, who is with me on the train and saw them speak to me.

"Hey mate have you got a mask?"

They accepted my exemption as soon as I showed it.

But I shouldnt have to do it. At all.
Small is now ticcing because of the anxiety it causes her to travel on trains and be confronted.

Well done train staff.

One of the two guys that spoke to me had his shield around his mouth. Duh.

What is the point? What is the actual point other than to terrorise people?
