My first topic (unsurprisingly) is #CPD (Continuous Professional Development), but in its more practical forms. #1nt practice groups, #xl8 workshops/slams, mentoring schemes - you name it.

Have you ever taken part? Did you like it?

[AA] I'm a staunch supporter of CPD.

I founded #LeedsENIT which I now run with @EleRegin and @LaraFasoli - a week-long practice session between Italian and English ( https://leedsenit.wordpress.com/ )

Throughout the lockdown, I attended @ParisPips and @IBPGs online #1nt practice sessions

[AA] SPEAKING OF, today is the first day of our 3-day Joint #1nt Practice Session - will you be attending?

Today's languages are #English, #Italian, #French and #Russian! Speakers include @terpcoach, @marcodelmastro, @federottigni and @Tatiana_Kn (a former curator)

[AA] #xl8-wise, @ITIUK regional groups @YTIUK & @ITINerg organise an annual translation workshop which I try to attend every year (work commitments allowing). We divide in target language groups, translate & discuss, then report back.
