Don’t even come for me “how would you feel ”

I did a glass mosaic of a purple VW bus in high school. Hand cut the glass. Took the entire school year. Was in a show. Got offered $700 for it and declined.

A year later, same show, smaller VW bus showed up. I had a 40 pound ocean planter in the show that year. Spoke to the bus artist and they said they were inspired by a piece they saw last year that the artist wouldn’t sell.

So they made their own. They sold their piece. Good for them.

The point is ... you don’t own a style. A character. You post your art online and it will show up all over the internet. It’s the risk you take. I’m sorry but it is.

T has a whole art degree and is an INCREDIBLE artist. We were shopping the other day and he said “hey I painted something almost identical to that!” But guess what. He sold a sticker design for $85 earlier that week.

I promise someone “tracing” or “copying” your art is not what is preventing you from being a millionaire.

I just tweeted I wanna see 300 followers when I wake up but I’ll just tell y’all how many followers I lost for this thread instead.

Anyways, if you want high quality pieces done by my man, he’s great at gore and weird stuff and can do just about anything you want. But don’t expect the price point to be low. Sorry
