My last two RT’s, whew. Aged 24, I finally understand the gospel - deep that I’ve been in church my whole life. Other confused people had been teaching a confused message & id probably gone on to confuse others.

You become a child of God once you have faith and accept Him as your saviour. Point blank finish.

Your works (being “good”, following “rules”) does not do it.

Your “lack” of works (not being “good”, breaking the “rules”) doesn’t undo it.

Do you know how powerful that is?

Jesus came to the world, felt every temptation man could feel and decided we need grace.

Jesus came because we needed something that justifies us beyond our works (actions)/ sacrifices.

You get saved because of Jesus’s sacrifice, not because of anything you do.

Deep it.

Do you know what this means for those that have been exiled from the faith because they are not the poster perfect Christian? Deep. It.

The gospel accepts all who have accepted Christ. ALL.

Regardless if they meet up to the “standard”. God decided the standard was unreachable
