why i don’t think addison rae blackfished: a thread

shadows make a really big difference on whether u look light or dark. here are comparison photos of addison BEFORE this whole scandal. the left is her face with good lighting, the right is with bad lighting

now, here is her AFTER these claims. again, on the left is good lighting and the right is bad lighting.

yes she could in fact be wearing much darker foundation in the pic on the right but it could very easily be shadows!

and a lot of ppl are saying that this pic shows she blackfishing bc she is the same color as the other black girls in the pic

but here in a second pic from the same day u can see the lighting is a bit better and she appears lighter. also she is the same color as madison and mariah and no one is saying they appeared too tan.

ofc this thread has nothing to do with any other racist claims against addison, this is just ab the blackfishing i just wanted to say my opinion cause i think ppl need to actually compare, not look at one photo and judge.

and i think it’s rlly hypocritical of arianators to judge so quickly since we often have to fight the claims of ariana blackfishing on a daily bc ppl will look at one photo of her and make judgement. so yea. that’s all ig.
