//Alright folks, this is going to be a longform/multi tweet thread that is the answer to the second question of that hardcore thing I posted earlier.

Content Warning: This is going to emotional, dark, complicated, and contains talk of violence and other stuff.

Don& #39;t read if+
you& #39;re adverse to talk of that kind of stuff/don& #39;t want to slog through the deeper workings of stuff. Additionally, this is about a fictional character, and has no connection to my own life, or the lives of anyone else.

There will be a summary at the bottom if you& #39;d rather skip.
Now that I have that out of the way, and at the behest of Byleth& #39;s mun, let us add fuel to the fire, and discuss the question of "what is your character& #39;s relationship with their mother."

I recommend bookmarking the top of this thread, since it will be at least a half hour+
to get this all out, if not an entire hour. While I& #39;ve been composing the bulk of it in my head, still.

@ProfessorOfWar enjoy, friendo. The tragedy of the Rockwoman and the Thirteenth Dragoon.
Elec& #39;s relationship with her mother, if it can even be called that, is one of agony, PTSD, trauma, repressed guilt, and intense longing.

This is for several reasons. The first is that Elec& #39;s supposed birth mother, the Dragon/Human hybrid known as "Hope" or Thirteen by her+
creator, a version of Doctor Robotnik(this is why I& #39;ve said Elec has Sonic connections, this was the product of rp almost five or six years ago), in fact died before Elec was "known" to the world. But that whole box of worms over whether Elec was born or created in a lab+
back when she was mortal is moot. That& #39;s also partially due to how this Electricane isn& #39;t the same Elec that most from before I entered Twitter would be familiar with. Slight timeline shift alongside the whole "X Years Later" thing I have going.
So I know what you& #39;re thinking "how could Elec have trauma if she never knew her mother?"

Well. Well folks. That has to do with how almost a full decade story wise after her mother& #39;s death, a version of her mother that had been possibly created by Elec& #39;s father, the Professor,+
resurfaced, alongside that same version of Robotnik, hell bent on destroying the modern world by plunging it into an eternal nightmare. Now of note is that this possible "clone" had in fact been made almost a decade before, shortly after Hope died, for reasons unknown to Elec.
