I have a better idea: Before you date/ have sex with someone, it's best to inform them you are trans. Because if you are serious about having a relationship with them, whether physical or emotional, they need to be informed of such things about their partner. https://twitter.com/gigiesguerra/status/1279990751204528128
How do you intend to get rid of the idea of "trapping" when people feel cheated each time they are not fully informed on these important details about the person they are seeking a long term relationship with? Tangina, ang selfish ng ganito.
There’s no shame about being trans. If I were trans, I wouldn’t hide it to anyone; not to my hook-ups and, most certainly, not to my prospective romantic long-term partner(s). Those who feel the need to hide their identity because they are ashamed of it are the real transphobes.
Violence is commonly cited as an excuse by some trans to hide their identity. BS. While we have work to do in terms of civil rights for ALL LGBT, PH society, in general, is accepting of trans individuals. That excuse will not fly here. In other countries, perhaps. Not here.
