I hear girls all the time say that they want to look the catalogue girls or the models on insta and I would just like to point out a few very important pieces of information: a thread
Being "inshape" is their job. Their job is to calorie count and go to the gym.they get paid to look that way they don't work a shift at Chick-fil-A then go to a shoot they dedicate their every living living moment to keeping themselves looking like that
Every body is different. I know that's cliché but it's true ,I will never be 6'0 it's just not gonna happen. You may have bigger hips or longer legs and that is perfectly okay. Every one's genetics are different and unique and that means that your body shape is going to differ
If someone said to you the things you say about yourself would you be friends with them?
Will looking like an insta model or whomever you aspire to look like change your self worth ? Will ' being skinny ' or having bigger boobs make you more valuable as a person?
I am a 5'9, 200 pound 18 yr old and it took me a long time to come across this information and self love is a hard journey.I have been told by partners , teachers , and potential employers etc that I was 'too tall','too fat',and too masculine. None of those things are true
Please add on to this thread let's encourage each other!
