I had a moment of inspiration the other day, thanks to three of the very best people I have met on Twitter since starting Coke's page a couple years ago: @Leonlovescats , @marypatf , and @pamcake_mum . This is for them.
I want to elaborate on why these three people, who I have never met in real life, are so special to me. I truly appreciate every single human account that interacts with my cats, and this is not meant to exclude those many wonderful people.
What I have noticed specifically about Rose, MaryPat, and Leon is that they are not only wonderful friends to our cats, but also to the people who run the cat accounts, many of us being minorities in various ways: LGBTQ+, disabled, part of a racial or cultural minority, and more.
The three lovely people I'm talking about have consistently offered their support to those of us struggling with matters including support for BLM, gender identity, sexuality, issues around acceptance by family members, and many other difficult situations.
Without exaggeration, @marypatf , @pamcake_mum , and @Leonlovescats have played the role of supportive parent to literal hundreds of people, young and old, within cat twitter. Seeing this so frequently, I wanted to do something to honor them in some small way for their kindness.
Also: I love all of the cats on here but I truly do not have the skill or energy to draw every single one. Please know that the spirit of the entire community is behind this picture and the idea behind it!
Oh, and the tractor is because of @Leonlovescats 's profile picture a few weeks ago. I thought it would be cute to have them all on a cat ranch. :)
I also tagged some, but not all, featured cat budy's in the image itself, but @cookietimeultra , @mrsweetfinn , @orangemenace_ @1eyedchewy , @AudieandFam , @quinnythecat , @StimkyLink , @jesuisfatty , @TrixyTheCalico , and @i_smilla are also intended to be tagged (among others)
You can follow @cokezero_mom.
