LEARN ABOUT GUY: A thread
I’m obligated to talk about him because he’s slept on too much

BASIC INFO:
-He is Citron’s former servant
-Zahran government made him believe he was a human android
-He struggled a lot with emotions before coming to Mankai
-Originally came to take Citron back to Zahra
-Discovered a love for acting and what happiness is to him with fuyugumi

Guy has a link skill with Misumi, where Misumi asks for Zahran triangles, and a link skill with Muku teaching him to become a prince. These are small things, but it shows he is kind and considerate to other members of Mankai and is always willing to help!

I also recommend listening (or reading the lyrics) to Guy’s solo, DEFRAGMENTATION. Like in Act 8, it’s important because he’s coming to terms with himself: he’s not an android; he’s human. He has his interests, his feelings, and his memories, which were all buried within him.

-Guy is athletic, and has a history with karate.
-He likes collecting records, like Masumi and Matsukawa.
-He likes flowers.
-He likes getting up early.
-He likes nature, natural herbs, and incense.
-He likes fishing (Guy fishing card when—)
-Bad at cooking
-Can drive!

Guy’s image flower, Ranunculus (or buttercup), “symbolizes charm and attractiveness across cultures and generations” ( http://flowermeaning.com ). This is probably due to Guy’s half-Zahran, half-Japanese heritage, and his fluency in both languages.

Guy and Citron have similar signatures! As you can tell, they both cross the first letter of their names. Along with this and getting to act together in a mixed play, I feel like this is important to show they’re still close, now being friends rather than prince and servant.

Guy also likes teaching Mankai about Zahra! I think giving him an event about it was very important to him (also Tangerine) and shows his attachment to his duel-culture upbringing.

-Guy is very good at math! (Seen in this backstage story. Smart king)
-He’s also quiet and not the best at communicating. Usually, it takes a bit of time for him to respond. I think it’s because he wants to think before he speaks. I like this because it’s very relatable.
