ok so we’re at the beach and my family is all there. everyone says it’s a birthday party for me bc my birthday is tomorrow. Trevor goes “oh try help me reel in my pole” and so we go down to the shore and I start reeling it in. My arm was sore. I was complaining

I said “how come I gotta reel um in? You no more arms?” And he said no I gotta go get my other pole but he was standing by me the whole time helping me. I was like you go get the other one then, I can do this one same time. He goes no just reel it in. So I’m still complaining.

Something heavy was on the line so I go “better be one big fish on this line cause my arm getting sore” and he laughs at me. Then finally, one champagne bottle comes out of the water stuck on the line. So I told Trevor “oh u caught rubbish, throw it away” and he laughed again.

Then he said “try open um”. I was like u want me to touch the trash??? That u caught in the ocean??? U foreal rn??? I was being annoying. He was like “kahaiolelo can you just open the fucking bottle” so whatever I was like okay fine. Then I opened it and there was a note

So can I just say rn that my entire family + Trevor’s parents were all standing behind us on a hill looking down at us and I could see them from like the corner of my eye but I REFUSED to look up anyways so I told Trevor “better not be something stupid in this bottle”

Okay so anyway we open the bottle and there’s a note. And the note said will you marry me and he got down on one knee and pulled a ring out of his pocket. Brother had hard time to OPEN THE RING BOX. Anyways so I said yes and now we’re getting married.

We been together since 2015, so it’s about freaking time
