“I’ve never notice how many times Jace tries to k*ll himself” You know how sad that is? No on notices it, Jace doesn’t give a damn about himself most of the time. If he dies then he thinks “I die for my family to protect others” but people glaze over that.

In the books Jace mask his pain with sarcasm. As we go into his story more we see the cracks in that armor. If it wasn’t for the Lightwoods and Alec we don’t know where Jace would be. In the show it’s worse they torture him left and right and no one notices.

Jace has to be in active pain for anyone to bat an eye because he always says “I’m fine” I hate that statement because most of the time it’s utter bull.
