in any given post-canon au i'm like, have you considered giving eddie a physical disability? perhaps [will smith pose] something from one of his canonical injuries?
impacted mobility, lung or heart function, all very good, but i do have a soft spot for having him lose an arm like in the novel... we stan outside voice for making that an option
