on wifi many characters have changed burst ranges, unreactable options out of disadvantage, safe moves that aren't safe offline, some moves get heavily nerfed or buffed, and much more im probably missing. and all of this is because of the 5-15 frames of delay even in good net
characters like dk and luigi have higher burst ranges because they have unreactable options like dk dash attack or luigi grab. its genuinely stupid.
other moves in disadvantage like bayo's abk or meta knight side b or palu warp/explosive flame are harder to react to

this again is caused by the delay online which hinders how you can deal with options like these even if you expect them. its very frustrating even if you don't take wifi seriously.

(imo nair is around the same online to offline, you just outrage it with bair where he lands or up tilt it while he fast falls either way)

to add further, characters with lots of startup and even endlag like shulk are clunky and seemingly uncontrollable on wifi. i don't wanna turn this thread into a "shulk sucks online" post but highlighting whats wrong with wifi, and shulk is the char I have the most wifi exp with.
other characters like hero w acceleratle, sheik or meta knight have tight af combo windows that u literally cannot do online unless you're some wifi god (and why would u wanna be a wifi god LMAOO)
