Why would he completely ignore Great Britain, The United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland etc. All predominately english speaking peoples?
The short answer is that in order to fulfill prophetic scripture he did not ignore

our nations. He simply chose not to identify them by their names they would have in the future. He referred to us all by names that are archetypical and by the character of the nations.
