I’m gonna go into several reasons on why I think UBW is the worst route of Fate/stay night imo.

1. Shinji lives. One of the most dumbest things was letting this bastard live when he should’ve died.

2. Gilgamesh being in UBW was totally not needed because it felt wasted-

And stupid because the only reason why he was really in there was so he could kill Illya, berserker and so Shirou could beat him for a badass moment. Also where the fuck was Gilgamesh’s golden armor? literally had it in the fate route but doesn’t here? It’s extremely durable-

3. Illya dies. Ngl Illya is one of my most favorite characters but UBW did her dirty by barely showing her and then she dies.

4. Shirou using up all his command spells like a fucking idiot-

5. The ending of UBW at least the true ending wasn’t the best on how it should’ve ended imo-

I really liked the good ending though but something about the true one just seemed off idk.
