This is v welcome news & really glad Govt has heard what we & sector have been saying since the day âgatheringsâ were banned.

There is the assumption that organisations will look after their own. But what about those already laid off, unable to access support since March? Netflix fund is a one-off hardship grant not on-going support. And any savings for tax etc over ÂŁ2k disqualifies. 2/4
Art isnât only about organisations & buildings, itâs about the community, the library, the youth theatre & the music festivals that bring a sense of belonging & pride to communities not always able to access shiny city culture. We must ensure theyâre also supported.

The gains weâve made in creative industries over last decade in Equality, Inclusion & Diversity must not be low-hanging fruit, lost to the crisis. We can & must rebuild better to ensure that community outreach, education and inclusive participation is govt priority. 4/4
