since christians feel it’s cool to weigh in on judaism all the time, here are my hot takes on christianity: how is it not polytheistic? it clearly is? and why is that not fine by them?

they have 2 main gods, a father-son duo, always cast as male,

and a bunch of minor intercessor deities, including at least one goddess-figure.

it doesn’t make sense to me that the christian father god is the same as the son god. they’re clearly always separated. the son figure is the important one to them and the father is mainly just a sort of foil.

it’s a beautiful polytheistic faith that goes around claiming to be monotheistic for some reason.

i don’t see why it should bother itself to do so.
