They took Kaepernick's protest against racist police violence and made it about the flag and the military. Now they're taking the largest protest movement in the history of this country, in terms of sheer numbers, and making it not about systemic racism but statues. (1/2)

It's a crude okey doke: one you pull out of your moth-bitten white hood when you are bereft of ideas. It's so dumb that statue concern trolling deserves nothing but scorn. They know it's not about statues. It's about giving their base something to fear and someone to hate.

And for folks saying that tearing down statues of confederates and genocide architects “plays into their hands”, please know that the goal posts would always move. If it wasn’t statues, it would be something else. Anything to avoid the topic at hand. No ideas. Just gaslighting.
