Interesting thread about former Wigan owner Stanley Choi. Worth noting, perhaps, that he is also one of the major financial backers of Socios, the blockchain-powered cryptocurrency-based fan engagement scheme that recently split with West Ham. https://twitter.com/dylanharris/status/1279771001614749696
Stanley is listed as an investor on the Chiliz website. (Chiliz is the cryptocurrency business than underpins the Socios fan voting tokens app.) The extent of his financial backing isn't clear, but he's one of only four people listed as an investor here https://www.chiliz.com/en/our-team/
Socios have signed up a number of top European clubs - PSG, Barca, Juve - but only last week announced the end of their partnership with West Ham, having never launched the tokens.
There's no reason to suppose the severing of the business relationship with West Ham reflects anything more than the unimpressive performance of the Hammers and the uneasy relationship between the board and fans.

Socios's founder pops up again in connection with Wigan's former owner. https://twitter.com/RobboHarry/status/1280102868276711431
Blimey. In literally the last few hours, Stanley Choi has been removed from the Chiliz website. The company, which owns the Socios fan engagement scheme, used to list Choi as one of its four shareholders. Only three are now displayed.

@RobboHarry
Here's a screenshot of the current list along with one I took yesterday and its timestamp.
I wonder if @Chiliz and @socios can confirm if Stanley Choi remains one of the four shareholders? If so, why has he been removed from the website? If not, when, why and to whom did he sell his shareholding?
