This post is misleading. Using cloth masks may reduce the risk of virus transmission, specifically on non medical settings. It's also recommended to reserve N95 and surgical masks for medical and frontline workers. If ever you encounter this on FB, please don't share.
It does more harm than good. It may give a false thought na "di ko na susuotin cloth mask ko kasi wala rin pala" considering that cloth masks are the most accesible ones. There's no need to dump your cloth masks unless you're working in COVID hot zones.
Plus, there are no scientifically supported sources indicated. So how were the rates of efficiency quantified?

Note: Using a mask is NOT only for your own protection. You are encouraged to use a mask to protect other people from YOU. Even though it is less transmissible, a large portion of the figures are asymptomatic patients (it can be you or me). So wear your masks!
