The advice given here as fact, that severity of fatigue relates to time spent resting after illness is v wrong & dangerous. The #PACE trial looking at CBT & Exercise (in #ME , a prolonged post viral fatigue syndrome) has been thoroughly debunked. 3/
Vink et al, 2019 looking at ME prognosis, found lack of rest after initial serious illness, a bad prognostic indicator for #ME prognosis. PLEASE REST.
Pace yourself, don’t rush back, you could pay the price.
