Km Poultry n many of my Poultry farmers field questions about how to start farming with chickens. Most times we give out advice that tailored to our operations. Here is my take for starting ur own operation particularly our beloved youth. 1 Read as much as u can about Poultry.

2. Find out where u can buy feed, chicks, feeders, drinkers were applicable chicken coops, vaccinations n the cost involved. This will help in determining ur cost of start up n how many chickens can u start with depending on ur available capital.

3. Do a market research of ur immediate community. Is there a market for ur product, will it be resellers or individual buyers. Given the cost of production what will be ur pricing n can ur target market afford 'no point in selling Bugatti ezi laleni'

4. Connect with fellow farmers in ur stream n share experience, just ask @ydb_ZN we share info all the time. Lastly don't farm remotely, farming is a hands on business. u don't wanna be told 30 chicks died but they still live in the coop to be sold later n u dn get the dividend.
